AI4Health: AI in Healthcare

A recent AI4Health: AI in Healthcare conference, held in collaboration with Bogomolets National Medical University, brought together healthcare professionals, students, and educators to explore the practical, educational, and philosophical dimensions of artificial intelligence in modern medicine.

Throughout the event, speakers delved into a wide range of thought-provoking topics. Discussions explored how AI is being translated from algorithms into practical medical tools, and why its integration into medical education is now viewed not as a trend, but as a necessity for preparing future clinicians. Participants also examined how AI opens up new diagnostic possibilities and reshapes clinical thinking, particularly in areas like orthognathic and maxillofacial surgery planning — where digital precision is transforming traditional workflows.

The conference also invited a deeper philosophical reflection on the principles and values behind AI adoption in healthcare, prompting important conversations about ethics, responsibility, and long-term impact.

To broaden the scope, we turned to AI’s role in systemic transformation. Joining us online from North America, our business advisor and consultant Maryana Tataryn offered a global perspective on the digital transformation of public healthcare systems, illustrating how AI can become a catalyst for government-led reform and strategic modernization at scale.

We were proud to contribute to a space where future-forward thinking meets clinical expertise — and to empower the medical community to embrace technology not as a replacement, but as an enhancement of human care.

The energy, curiosity, and dedication of our attendees reaffirm our belief that collaboration, continuous education, and thoughtful dialogue are key to building the future of healthcare — one that’s inclusive, innovative, and truly impactful.
